Virginia Wing is hosting its  annual Wing conference with the Middle East Region  April 7–9 in Charlottesville, VA. Registration is now open.

The event includes training, networking, and recognition.  This conference will present you with opportunities to hear the latest from CAP, share in the presentation of annual awards, increase your knowledge base with seminars designed to answer questions, and introduce you to resources to answer future questions.

Check-in will begin on Friday night at 1800 and continue through Saturday morning, followed by the opening General Session.  Individual breakout sessions will start immediately after the General Session and cadets will go on the tour. Throughout the day, there will be sessions for the senior members and cadets. Our Cadets will have an opportunity to tour an aerospace venue in Charlottesville on Saturday morning and to have an incredible Social after the banquet with a DJ and more! We hope you can make it! The banquet will be held on Saturday evening.

This year’s conference is an ideal location for a weekend getaway with the family. While members attend training sessions, family members can enjoy Monitcello, tours of Carter Mountain Orchards, tours of the University of Virginia, or shopping in historic Charlottesville before joining in for the evening banquet. 

Deeply discounted lodging is available at the Holiday Inn - University Area Hotel for $109/night plus tax. This is the rate for the first 100 rooms. After that the price increases to $149 for the next 50 rooms and after that back to the regular hotel rate of $199. SO REGISTER AND RESERVE EARLY! Attendees who register NLT 2359 on 3 March 2017 will get a free conference commemorative coin. After this date, registration fees will increase by $10 and coins will be available for purchase at $5 per coin. Prior year's coins will also be available for onsite purchase.
